At
Lochhead Manufacturing Company, we always use the highest quality ingredients
in all of our products.
Our pure vanillas are made from only the finest hand-picked, sunshine-cured
vanilla beans we import from Madagascar, Indonesia, and other tropical
climes.
 Each
bundle of beans is carefully inspected before processing to ensure that
only the most flavorful and aromatic beans are used. These
select beans are then cold processed using proprietary slow percolation
methods passed down through generations of the Lochhead family.
 This
process takes weeks to complete, but the results are unparalleled. Powerfully
rich vanillas with delicate sweet aromas that your taste buds will never
forget. Over the last century we have developed over 200 different
types of Category I, II, and III vanillas.
While many of our products are used
in the dairy industry to flavor top quality ice creams, frozen custards,
and yogurts, our vanillas and other flavors are also used in a variety
of other applications, including: soy beverages and desserts, baked
goods, candies, chocolates, salad dressing, sauces, and coffees to name
a few.
